How the buckets work
An order is here if it is not cancelled on our side and no courier has scanned it. It leaves the page the moment a pickup scan arrives or the order is cancelled in UC or Shiprocket.
1 · No label — NEW ORDER, no AWB; the UC package is CREATED or PACKED. Action: allocate.
1b · No courier serves pin — no label, Shiprocket's serviceability check (COD, 0.5 kg, from our pickup pin; cached 7 days) returns zero couriers, AND Shadowfax's own pin file (loaded on Pin Health) does not list the pin as open for us. If only Shiprocket is out but Shadowfax is open, the row stays in bucket 1 with the action "allocate to Shadowfax". Action for 1b: cancel the sale order in UC (Shopify syncs overnight) or find a courier outside both.
2 · Labelled, pickup pending — AWB assigned, pickup scheduled or out for pickup, no attempt yet. Action: wait for the slot, chase if past it.
3 · Pickup missed — PICKUP EXCEPTION / PICKUP ERROR: the courier came and the packs were not ready. Shiprocket's reason and the number of missed attempts are on the row. Action: pack, then "Schedule pickup".
4 · Label cancelled — Shiprocket shows the AWB cancelled ("cancellation requested"); UC still has the order ready to ship. Action: re-allocate, or cancel the sale order in UC (Shopify then syncs overnight).
Shopify column — fetched per order daily. "fulfilled · label-era" means Shopify was marked fulfilled when the Shiprocket-era label was assigned, but the parcel never moved; the Cancel button handles it (stale fulfilment cancelled first). Orders cancelled on Shopify leave the page and are marked cancelled with us.
Age = days since the order was placed; orders under 2 days old are not on this page at all (they are the normal pipeline). In status = days since the last status change. Bands: 2–4 grey · 4–7 amber · 7–15 red · 15+ black. Anything over 7 days sits in "Decide now".
UC package comes from the dispatch wave's last ready-to-ship sweep (30-day window). Shopify comes from the hourly reconciler. "Fix ticked" picks the route per order: a no-label order is allocated on the spot (the same call the hourly batch makes, for just the ticked orders); a pickup miss under 2 days old gets the courier re-requested on the same label; anything older, with an expired or cancelled label, is re-assigned (old AWB cancelled on Shiprocket, new AWB, UC updated, new label) and the new labels come back as one download to print. Shadowfax Direct bookings cannot be re-labelled by API: those rows get their AWB verified at Shadowfax and the UC label re-downloaded for the next handover; a dead AWB is reported for the UC screen. DTDC rows are listed for the UC screen.
